The awards were presented to 73 individuals, some posthumously. Of these, four were Padma Vibhushan, eight Padma Bhushan and 61 Padma Shri awards by President Ram Nath Kovind for the year 2020.

Surreal or not, the day was certainly special, for these three, along with 70 others after being felicitated with the Padma Awards by President Ram Nath Kovind at a ceremony held in the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi.
